Watch Catherine Jessey's excellent 30-minute session, summarising insights from the white paper 'Covid & Beyond: A bright future for schools through edtech'.

During the session, Catherine highlighted investment strategies for technology to support blended learning.

In summary:

  • Emergency plans put into place by schools during lockdown have worked, however in most cases they are not sustainable or sufficient for the long term.
  • Schools will need to provide a full curriculum through a mix of class and remote learning.
  • The next academic year will put schools’ strategies to the test, with further disruption expected.

Senior leaders, who joined the session, said they found it ‘very useful’ and it gave a ‘great framework’ to successfully develop and implement a resilient blended learning strategy.
