Technology: solving the teacher workload and wellbeing issue

Sparkjar's Jo Hopper is joined by Apple Distinguished Educator, Science Teacher and Sparkjar Teacher Champion, Catherine Jessey to discuss the role new technology is fulfilling to reduce the pressure on teachers.

Teacher wellbeing, retention and  recruitment are heading to the top of the agenda for trust and school leaders as we emerge from the pandemic. The additional Covid catch-up workload will burden teachers with additional workload unless new ways of working are adopted. The impact on schools and the competition for teachers will be a driver for investment in new designed-for-education technology for 1:1 device schools.
